We use a unique, anonymized string derived from your email address (known as a hash) which might be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are a user. The privacy policy of Gravatar is accessible here. Once your comment is approved, your Gravatar profile picture becomes publicly visible alongside your comment.
Media
For images you upload to our site, we advise against including images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Be aware that visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
